Javenese Medicine

Had the boys from Java come to "fix" my back. Needless to say this didn't quite work out too well.

Their first technique was a short prayer session..inducing Allah's good graces.

Next a massage to discover where the injury was. Of course after having lived with the injury for 2 weeks I could have just told them, but proper form must be followed.

This was followed by hot oil and hot cloth in combination with massage.. so far so good.

Then we had a very painful massage of my right foot with a stick. The guy really dug the stick into the sole of the foot.. yum!

After this the famous suction cups were bought out.. leaving me with purple bruise all over my back and legs.

To top this off they bled the injury. Fuck me, bleeding injuries hasn't been a part of western medicine for hundreds of years.

It all ended up doing no good of course..but hey..noyhing like a good beating and bloodletting to fix a slipped disc!

Ended up $227 at the tables.
