Determination

5:30 pm today I was stuck nearly $300, almost all of it due to bad beats. I was pretty damn irritable too. After the daily excursion to the beach I came home and put in 3 sessions. I played well and wasn't unlucky. I managed to turn a $300 loss into a $45 profit. With the way my finances are at the moment that means a lot. I can't wait till I get my head above water financially and can relax a little.

Stress

Well the last few days have been very stressful.
First I managed to run colder than a witches tit, losing with QQ 5 times in a row and losing with AA and flopped sets to 4 flushes. Then I lost my connection to FTP on Friday. Saturday it was still shit, though I managed to play and lose a few hundred. Sunday the same story. So my roll started shriveling by nearly $500, I coudln't get a decent connection to play, and because I was in Indo Pokerstars wanted to fuck me over royally before they let me play.
Unfortunately Stars was the only site I could get a half decent connection to. So Saturday I scanned and sent the requested documents to them, Sunday they reply that my ccount is now fine, but leave the fucking thing locked. I email them and eventually Tuesday I'm able to play there. The fucking stress of losing and not being able to work was killing me, but eventually it looks like I might have my FTP connection back and will always have stars as a backup.

I also made a video for husng.com as a guest instructor. It was received favorably, despite being fairly crap. I hope to make the next one MUCH better.

Finances

Well a few weeks ago the finances were looking solid... now after 35jt of back surgery, 16jt for the kids' passports, a drug induced tilt session (thanks Lyrica) and a week off work, things are looking a lot crappier. I have enough money to survive, but this back shit has really hit me where it hurts. I guess I just have to batten down the hatches and work as much as I can. In less than a week I'll be off the antibiotics, which make me sleepy. That'll help!

Back

Back from Jakarta where I had a disc removed from my back.
The surgery went fine. I was bored out of my mind afterwards, but eventually managed to get out of the hospital and back to home. The doctor gave me a heap of drugs, but one in particular seems to have messed my head around big time. I can't concentrate and have had really vivid dreams. It's meant to stop nerve pain. I'm not taking it as I can't work in this condition.
