Spotted a fish at the $200's so played 3 matches there. Winning two and losing one after 3 horrible bad beats.
Lost my 3 matches at the 100's 1-2, so only made a few $ today, but worth it to play at the $200 hu limit!!!

It wasn't a great offer, basically right at the bottom range of what I'd accept, but I figure get my foot in the door and once I'm well known I'm worth more :)
I've made two videos for them. The first is sent, I think it was OK. The second I just finished making and that seems fine to me too. Hopefully they'll be well received.

Coaching has been taking off, so far I've made over $1200 in less than 3 weeks. I hope it continues! Undoubtedly I'll pick up some more customers from my husng coaching page.

I've also had an offer of staking to play at the $200 hu level. I've accepted, so we'll see how well that goes. Tmw I intend to play a mixture of $100's and $200's on someone elses money!!
Hopefully I run ok and get used to playing at the $100 level so I can move there for a long time :)

The Update

Lots to update!
First of all I started coaching. I put a post on 2+2 showing my graph and Ryan from Husng dropped in and gave me a nice plug. That lead to us discussing the chances of me making videos for his site. He seemed keen, but I haven't heard from him since I sent in a vid, so I'm not sure if he is up for it or not. I had my hopes up, so I'll be disappointed if he passes. If that's the case then I'll ship it to every other site in the hope that someone will pay me to make these things. I put my best effort into the vid and I have to say I did a very good job.
If that fails, then I guess there is always hucoach.com
The coaching has been going very well. I designed a HU fundamentals course of 4 lessons, which I offered for $200. I've had 4 takers for that and a couple of guys for single leak-plugging lessons. So nice income from coaching!
Havn't played much poker lately due to the coaching and vid making, plus my visa trip to Singas, but have made steady money over the course of the month.
Right now I'm running good, I just need an offer from HUSNG.COM. ONE TIME!!!!

Maxwell made 10k last month at mostly $50 hu, with some $100's thrown in. I made 2k. My roi is twice his. Clearly this is ridiculous. I simply have to play more. Not doing so is giving away money. Even worse, at the moment money is low. So starting today I'm determined to play at least 18 games a day. Two sessions of 9 games. It simply has to be done!

Watched the first 4 videos and they got progressively better. Now I've watched his first tilt vid and I think it's excellent. A very high chance I'm going to successfully eliminate tilt!!
I've already recognized my triggers and tendencies. I'll work on a plan to put into place when the tendencies are happening.
Lost $115 today, but played very well, which is all that counts.
I think in order to move away from a results mindset into a process mindset I'm going to stop recording results here and just discuss how well I played and how my anti-tilt progress is going.

Determination

5:30 pm today I was stuck nearly $300, almost all of it due to bad beats. I was pretty damn irritable too. After the daily excursion to the beach I came home and put in 3 sessions. Stress

Well the last few days have been very stressful.
First I managed to run colder than a witches tit, losing with QQ 5 times in a row and losing with AA and flopped sets to 4 flushes. Then I lost my connection to FTP on Friday. Saturday it was still shit, though I managed to play and lose a few hundred. Sunday the same story. So my roll started shriveling by nearly $500, I coudln't get a decent connection to play, and because I was in Indo Pokerstars wanted to fuck me over royally before they let me play.
Unfortunately Stars was the only site I could get a half decent connection to. So Saturday I scanned and sent the requested documents to them, Sunday they reply that my ccount is now fine, but leave the fucking thing locked. I email them and eventually Tuesday I'm able to play there. The fucking stress of losing and not being able to work was killing me, but eventually it looks like I might have my FTP connection back and will always have stars as a backup.

I also made a video for husng.com as a guest instructor. It was received favorably, despite being fairly crap. I hope to make the next one MUCH better.

Finances

Well a few weeks ago the finances were looking solid... now after 35jt of back surgery, 16jt for the kids' passports, a drug induced tilt session (thanks Lyrica) and a week off work, things are looking a lot crappier. I have enough money to survive, but this back shit has really hit me where it hurts. I guess I just have to batten down the hatches and work as much as I can. In less than a week I'll be off the antibiotics, which make me sleepy. That'll help!

I'm not taking it as I can't work in this condition.

Javenese Medicine

Had the boys from Java come to "fix" my back. Needless to say this didn't quite work out too well.

Their first technique was a short prayer session..inducing Allah's good graces.

Next a massage to discover where the injury was. Of course after having lived with the injury for 2 weeks I could have just told them, but proper form must be followed.

This was followed by hot oil and hot cloth in combination with massage.. so far so good.

Then we had a very painful massage of my right foot with a stick. The guy really dug the stick into the sole of the foot.. yum!

After this the famous suction cups were bought out.. leaving me with purple bruise all over my back and legs.

To top this off they bled the injury. Fuck me, bleeding injuries hasn't been a part of western medicine for hundreds of years.

It all ended up doing no good of course..but hey..noyhing like a good beating and bloodletting to fix a slipped disc!

Emotional vs Physical

Well now I've had more than a week of physical pain and the prospect of more to come as I finally start to repair my back. I'm starting to compare this with the mental anguish of teaching for 10 years. Teaching, of course, isn't a bad job, but when you've had enough and are forced to continue in a profession you've grown to hate, it becomes hell. Personally I'd take a week of teaching over a week of back pain, but 3 months of teaching vs a week of back pain and I'll take the physical pain. Teaching FTL!

Today I ran decent, despite getting a guy all in 4 times and losing all 4 (I won the fifth) and made $285.

Sleep Schedule

My sleep schedule is pretty fucked. I woke up today at 2:15 after waking originally at 10:30 and taking about 90 mins to drift back off.
